Chesed L???Avraham and Shvilim are both concerned with children???s welfare, specifically the abandoned or abused in Israel and those with special needs born to families that cannot afford to meet them, respectively. Meor Hatorah makes stipends available to needy religious families so that studies can be pursued regardless of income, benefiting approximately eight hundred young men in twenty-five locations throughout the world. Nachal Novea is an ambitious project to realize an old vision, the restoration of the ancient city of Tsfat. There is now a fully functioning synagogue and modern mikveh, with a kollel that supports a hundred and thirty full-time students and over seventy babies and toddlers in the communal nursery.
