AgentsOfNewYork

One of the most successful agents in New York City is Zalman Silber, of the Empire State Building???s Skyride fame. Already a star performer at famed New York Life Insurance (1993 President???s Council member, 1994 Agent of the Year), Silber went on to found the popular amusement ride, which had city makers and shakers attending its grand opening such as then-Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.
Zalman Silber has been a popular guest lecturer at some of the leading institutions for business topics, from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University to talks organized by Cornell University???s Department of Applied Economics and Management.
Zalman Silber???s business interests have expanded beyond rides to financial dealings and marketing. He is also greatly given over to numerous charitable concerns involving the preservation of Yiddishkeit and the world of the Ashkenaz.

A quick chronology of his career follows.
Skyline Multimedia Entertainment was established to handle Silber???s related business ventures involving rides and similar amusements. These are New York Skyride, XS New York, Oztrek, Skywalk, and The Edge. Evidently, success in these endeavors has resulted in new business interests
in the fields of targeted marketing and money management for high-worth individuals and institutions. These career new developments are in the form of ICES, or International Commerce Exchange System, and American Heritage Holdings, respectively. A general business consultancy has also been established to provide advice on all aspects of today???s business environment, from traditional fundamentals to website development.
In addition to purely business matters, Silber credits his serial success to his deep devotion and has taken on numerous charitable causes, as follows.
Arachim is an organization dedicated to preserving traditional Jewish values in the modern world by integrating them with everyday life, from martial arts to motorcycling. Chesed L???Avraham and Shvilim are both concerned with children???s welfare, specifically the abandoned or abused in Israel and those with special needs born to families that cannot afford to meet them, respectively. Meor Hatorah makes stipends available to needy religious families so that studies can be pursued regardless of income, benefiting approximately eight hundred young men in twenty-five locations throughout the world. Nachal Novea is an ambitious project to realize an old vision, the restoration of the ancient city of Tsfat. There is now a fully functioning synagogue and modern mikveh, with a kollel that supports a hundred and thirty full-time students and over seventy babies and toddlers in the communal nursery.
